  • Can I listen to a sample?

    You can try all the programs on the app or at the "NMC Catalog" section on this website.
  • Do I need to sign up?

    There is no need to sign up to use our service. You're all set to play the music when you install the app and make an in-app purchase.
  • Does the subscription automatically get renewed?

    Yes, once you have made an in-app purchase, your subscription will be automatically renewed each month after that. You can unsubscribe at any time.
  • How much are the cancellation fees and penalties?

    There are no such fees. You can stop subscribing to our service anytime and resume it whenever you want to use the service again.
  • I want to stop using the app, what should I do?

    Simply uninstalling the app will not cancel your subscription. Please follow the links below to find out how to cancel your subscription.

  • I want to use the app in multiple stores. Does a subscription allow me to authenticate multi-location uses with a shared serial code?

    We do not offer a service that authenticates multiple-location uses with a serial code.
  • I want to use the app in more than one shop. Do you allow me to use various devices in different venues to play music with one subscribed account?

    You need to purchase one subscription per venue.
  • I want to use the app in more than one shop. Is there any other way to play the music other than the app?

    Yes, we offer alternative services for corporate clients by providing music programs in audio files. Please see the detailed information here.
  • I want to use the app in my shop. How do I connect it to my speakers?

    For a wired connection, you can use an audio cable from the stereo earphone jack of your phone or PC to connect to general-purpose speakers. Please refer to the instruction manual of each device.

    However, there are cases where the PC terminal does not support Bluetooth communication, so please use a wired connection in that case. Also, if you use the speakers in a store, we recommend an amplifier to avoid insufficient volume problems.
  • I would like to use the app for commercial purposes. Can I pay by invoice?

    We do not support invoice payment for use on the App/YouTube/Vimeo/Niconico Channel.

  • I've paid for the app but I can't open the playlist!

    It may take some time to authenticate your payment on rare occasions. If the problem persists even when you restart your device and after 24 hours of waiting, you may not use the service due to some unknown issue. You can cancel your billing at the stores below. We also appreciate it if you try the app on a different device before requesting a refund on:

  • Do I need to pay a copyright fee to music copyright societies, such as ASCAP, SESAC, or JASRAC?

    No, there's no need to pay any fees to third parties other than Nash Studio.
  • What should I do if I am asked for proof by a copyright management organization?

    If a copyright management organization contacts you by phone, please tell them that you use "Nash Music Channel (royalty-free music resources)," a background music subscription service.

    If they sent you a form to fill in, please write "Nash Music Channel" in the field for the music that you are using. In the case of an on-site investigation, you can present the "License Guarantee" available on the app (tap "User Guide" and go to "License Guarantee") to the personnel.

    Nash Music Channel (this service) is our in-store background music player subscription by which you can play music in public via speakers and devices such as mobile and PC.

    Nash Music Library is our audio download service that licenses background music to creatives for their sound design use in video production, advertising, and other creative projects.
  • Can I continue to use the app when I switch to a new device?

    If you are a subscribed user, please follow the steps below on switching to a new device.

    (1) iPhone Users: Select "Settings -> Click on your name (Apple ID) -> Subscription" and cancel your subscription on your previous device. After canceling the subscription, install the Nash Music Channel app on your new device and repurchase a subscription.

    (2) Android Users: Go to the "Play Store" application and select "Subscription" from the menu, then cancel the subscription on your previous device. After canceling the subscription, install the Nash Music Channel app on your new device and repurchase a subscription.

    The app plays music offline. So you do not need an internet connection to play music if you downloaded a music program in advance with a secure connection. However, the app requires an internet connection for the authentication process upon starting the app.

    We do not recommend or suggest particular programs not to urge everyone to use the same one—we believe that it's only through making your own musical choices you'll get to create a unique space.

    Yes, but you need to purchase one subscription per device, thus, this usually amounts to one subscription per venue.

    We don't support this currently, so you will need to manually add programs for each device/venue. Again, we recommend sharing a screenshot of the playlist.

    Yes, you can play music at commercial venues, such as shops, stores, and restaurants.

    Yes, you can play our music anywhere in the world.

    Yes. Also, you can live-broadcast the event with the music in the background, including Internet broadcasts.

    Yes, there are no problems with this. You will have no obligation to clear the rights to any music.

    Yes, you can use our app tp play it on any platform, such as Periscope, YouTube Live, Instagram Live, and so on.

    These music streaming services typically allow you to listen to the music for personal enjoyment. Therefore, it may amount to an infringement of copyright to play these apps in any commercial venues or events without seeking permission to do so.
  • The app doesn't have any songs or music that I want to play at my venue.
